Hunter Tree Stand Harness

Tree Stand Harnesses are being voluntarily recalled, again. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Hunter's View, of Peoria, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 200,000 additional harnesses (about 500,000 were recalled in April 2005.) Safety Harnesses Sold with Tree Stands and Harnesses Provided as Replacements. The harnesses could fail during use, resulting in a hunter falling from the tree stand and suffering serious injuries or death.

Does Your Doctor Know Your Past?

Many instances of medical malpractice find their root in communication problems, especially when it comes to medical histories. While the doctor remains ultimately responsible for making a decision regarding your healthcare, treatment and diagnosis, bringing a medical history with you when seeing a new doctor can speed things up and open the communication lines. WikiHow has a great article on going about summarizing your medical history. But, even better, ask your doctor if he has obtained a copy or transfer of your chart from a previous physician.
